For Saudi nationals, contributions commonly total around 21.5% of the contributory wage — split into pension (9% employee + 9% employer), SANED unemployment (0.75% each), and occupational hazard (2% employer). For non-Saudis, only occupational hazard (2%, employer) applies. Rates and the contributory-wage ceiling are set by GOSI and have been reformed for new entrants — confirm current figures. This is an estimate.
The contributory wage is generally basic salary plus the housing allowance, subject to a monthly ceiling set by GOSI. Other allowances are usually excluded.
Non-Saudi employees are covered only for occupational hazards (2%, paid by the employer). They do not contribute to pension or SANED.
