How to Convert JPG to PDF (Combine Photos and Scans into One File)

Turn photos of receipts, documents and IDs into a single tidy PDF — in the right order, on A4 or Letter pages, free and private.

Phone cameras have replaced scanners for most people. But sending ten separate photos of a document is messy — the recipient has to open each one and work out the order. Combining them into one PDF solves that.

How to convert images to PDF

  1. Open the free Image to PDF converter.
  2. Add your images — JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC.
  3. Use ↑ ↓ to set the page order.
  4. Choose A4, Letter or Fit to image, orientation and margin.
  5. Click Create PDF.

Each image becomes one page, fitted and centred. Everything happens in your browser.

Which page size?

  • A4 / Letter — produces a standard, printable document. Best for receipts, forms and anything that might be printed.
  • Fit to image — each page is exactly the photo's shape, with no white borders. Best for screenshots and designs.

Auto orientation makes landscape photos landscape pages automatically.

Tips for photographing documents

  • Lay the document flat on a dark surface in good, even light.
  • Shoot from directly above to avoid keystone distortion.
  • Crop out the background first with the Image Cropper.
  • Turn off flash to avoid glare.

Common uses

  • Expense claims — all receipts for a trip in one PDF.
  • ID copies — Emirates ID or Aadhaar front and back on consecutive pages.
  • Signed documents — photos of a signed contract's pages.
  • Delivery proof — photos of goods and the signed delivery note.

If the file is too big

Phone photos are large. Compress the result with Compress PDF or shrink the photos first with the Image Compressor.

Your images stay on your device

Pyalm's image tools process files with your browser's canvas. Nothing is uploaded — useful for ID photos, product shots before launch, and screenshots containing customer data.
