Most "edit a PDF" jobs are small: fill in a form that isn't fillable, correct a date, highlight what someone needs to read, or add a stamp or signature. You don't need expensive desktop software for that.

What you can do

The free PDF Editor adds content on top of any page:

Tool Use it to
Text Fill in forms, add notes, type corrections
Date Insert today's date in one click
Tick / Cross Complete checkboxes on printed-style forms
Highlight Mark clauses or figures for a reader
Box Draw attention to a section
White-out Cover text you want to replace
Image Add a logo, stamp or photo
Signature Draw, type or upload your signature

How to edit a PDF

  1. Open the PDF Editor and choose your file.
  2. Pick a tool from the toolbar and click on the page.
  3. Drag items to move them; use the green corner handle to resize.
  4. Click Download PDF.

How to "change" existing text

PDFs store text as positioned characters, not paragraphs, so free editors don't re-flow existing text. The reliable method:

  1. Use White-out to cover the old text.
  2. Add a Text box with the correction on top, matching the size.

White-out is not redaction

White-out hides content visually, but the original text may still be in the file and extractable. To truly remove sensitive data (ID numbers, salaries), after whiting out run the file through Compress PDF in strong mode — every page becomes an image and the hidden text is gone.

Any language

Text in Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam and other scripts is supported — it's embedded as an image so it displays correctly in every viewer.

Why browser-based PDF tools are safer

Most online PDF sites upload your file to their servers. Pyalm's PDF tools run entirely in your browser — the file is read, processed and saved on your own device and never sent anywhere. That matters for contracts, invoices, bank statements and ID documents.

Stop handling business PDFs by hand

Most business PDFs are invoices, quotations, receipts and statements. Pyalm Books generates them for you — VAT-compliant, numbered, emailed to the customer and stored — so there's nothing to merge, rename or fix afterwards.
