Most event budgets break because of a missing line, not because a big cost was wrong. Start with venue, permits and insurance, production, talent, food and beverage, staffing, technology, marketing and guest experience. Then add 10–15% contingency, because every event finds extra costs in the last two weeks.
Ticket prices shown to UAE consumers include 5% VAT, which you collect for the FTA. The calculator removes it before counting revenue. Break-even is the number of tickets that covers your total costs after sponsorship. If it's above your realistic sales, cut costs or raise prices now, not in the final week.
