Press Start to measure latency, download and upload speed. The test takes about 20 seconds and runs between your browser and Cloudflare's nearest data centre.
Ready when you are
Uses roughly 50–150 MB of data. For the most accurate result, use a wired connection and pause other downloads.
A fast connection only helps if your website is fast too. Pyalm builds lightweight Next.js websites that load in under two seconds, even on mobile data.
Download speed affects streaming and page loads; upload speed matters for video calls, sending files and cloud backups; ping (latency) is the round-trip delay that makes calls and games feel laggy; jitter is how much that delay varies — high jitter causes choppy video.
Close other downloads and video, test on a cable if you can (Wi-Fi often halves speed), and run it a few times at different hours. Results also depend on your device and browser — older phones can't always reach gigabit speeds.

See your public IP address and look up any IP's location, ISP and network owner.
Look up A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, SOA and CAA records — with SPF and DMARC checks.
Compare times across cities and find a meeting slot that works — Dubai, India, London, New York and more.
Cloudflare's speed test endpoints, which automatically route to the nearest of its 300+ data centres — including Dubai, Fujairah, Mumbai, Chennai and other locations near you.
Roughly 50–150 MB depending on your speed. Avoid running it repeatedly on a limited mobile plan.
Plans advertise maximum line speed. Wi-Fi, distance from the router, device limits and network congestion all reduce real-world speed. Test on a wired connection to check what your line delivers.
