A UAE e-commerce store wired into Google Shopping and local inventory

A full-stack Next.js storefront with customer accounts, catalogue management, and product feeds that put the catalogue into Google Shopping and local-inventory listings.

The challenge

What needed solving.

The retailer needed more than a storefront. Products had to be discoverable in Google search and Shopping without a separate feed tool, customers needed simple sign-in, and the catalogue had to stay accurate as prices and stock changed.

What we built
  • Responsive storefront with category, product, cart, and checkout journeys
  • Google sign-in through Auth.js with a Postgres-backed customer store
  • Product sitemap generated from the live catalogue
  • Google Merchant Center product feed and local-inventory feed served directly by the site
  • Admin-side catalogue management with validated forms
Key decisions

Feeds generated from the same data as the pages

The Merchant Center and local-inventory XML feeds are rendered from the catalogue the shop itself uses, so price and availability in Google cannot drift from the site.

Managed sign-in instead of custom passwords

Google sign-in removed password resets and credential storage from the support burden while keeping account data in the retailer's own database.

The result

The retailer runs a single system for its storefront, customer accounts, and Google Shopping presence, with search-ready product data published automatically from the catalogue.
