6 Free Calculators for Founders and Logistics Teams

A practical tour of Pyalm's free dilution, SaaS metrics, MRR, dimensional weight, freight allocation, and safety-stock calculators.

Good operating decisions usually start with a small, answerable question: What will this round do to founder ownership? Which weight will the carrier bill? How much did freight add to every unit? A focused calculator is often faster and safer than rebuilding the formula in a new spreadsheet.

We added six browser-based helpers to the Pyalm free tools collection. They require no account and update as you type.

Three tools for founders

Funding Dilution Calculator

The Funding Dilution Calculator turns a pre-money valuation and investment amount into post-money valuation, new investor ownership, and the founders' retained stake. It is deliberately a simple priced-round model. SAFEs, notes, option-pool changes, and preference terms still belong in a full cap table.

SaaS Unit Economics Calculator

The SaaS Unit Economics Calculator brings ARPU, CAC, churn-based LTV, CAC payback, and LTV:CAC into one view. That makes it useful for a monthly operating review: if payback is stretching or LTV:CAC is falling, you immediately know where to investigate.

MRR Growth Calculator

The MRR Growth Calculator reconciles starting MRR through new business, expansion, churn, and contraction. The result includes ending MRR, net new MRR, gross churn, and net revenue retention.

Three tools for logistics teams

Dimensional Weight Calculator

Carriers may charge for the space a carton occupies rather than only its scale weight. The Dimensional Weight Calculator compares both and multiplies the chargeable figure across identical packages. Always use the divisor in your carrier tariff.

Freight Cost per Unit Calculator

The Freight Cost per Unit Calculator combines goods value, freight, insurance, duty, and handling. It then shows total landed cost and the logistics cost added to each unit.

Safety Stock Calculator

The Safety Stock Calculator uses maximum and average demand and lead times to estimate a buffer and suggested reorder point.

Use the result as a decision prompt

A calculator is a model, not an approval workflow. Save the inputs beside the result, record where each number came from, and rerun the calculation when a valuation, carrier tariff, demand pattern, or supplier lead time changes. That small habit turns a quick answer into a repeatable operating decision.
