The free Event Badge Generator turns a pasted attendee list into printable badges, four A6 badges to an A4 sheet.
Prepare your list
One person per line: Name, Company, Role. Copy three columns from Excel or Google Sheets and paste them in. Tabs work too.
Badge design that works
- Name first and big. It should be readable at two metres.
- Company below. That's what people use to start a conversation.
- Colour bands by role. Speaker, VIP, Exhibitor, Media and Staff each get a colour, so crew can spot them instantly.
- A QR code lets exhibitors scan leads. See exhibitor lead retrieval.
Pre-printed vs printed on arrival
| Pre-printed | Print on arrival (kiosk) | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Print the night before | Kiosks at the entrance |
| Walk-ups & changes | Handwritten | Printed instantly |
| Queue | Searching alphabetised tables | Scan and print in seconds |
| Waste | Badges for no-shows | Only attendees who arrive |
For large conferences, kiosks with on-demand printing save time and reprints. Read event accreditation and badges.
