Planning a New Year's Eve Event in Dubai: Tickets, Tables and Crowds

How to plan and sell a New Year's Eve event in Dubai — packages, tables, early sales, permits, entry, transport and the countdown — for hotels, venues and promoters.

New Year's Eve is Dubai's biggest night. Hotels, beach clubs, rooftops and venues compete for guests who want the best view of the fireworks and the best party. Tickets sell early, prices are high and expectations are higher.

Planning guidance only. Rules, dates and requirements change, so confirm the current position with the relevant authority and your venue for each event.

Start early

Many NYE events go on sale in September or October. Permits, ticket categories and pricing need approval before sales open, so begin in summer. See how to get a DTCM code.

Price the night

Tier Example
General admission Standing access
Premium view Fireworks-facing areas
Table for 6–10 Minimum spend or set package
VIP / cabana Private area, dedicated host
Early bird First release, limited quantity

Entry on the night

Guests arrive in a rush between 8 and 10pm. Use QR or face check-in, separate VIP lanes and enough gates. Use the check-in calculator with a high peak factor.

Transport and timing

Roads close and traffic builds near fireworks locations. Send guests clear arrival windows, parking and taxi advice on WhatsApp, and plan staff travel early.

Safety

Large crowds, alcohol and fireworks need serious planning: security, medical cover and capacity. See the staffing calculator.

After midnight

Plan the exit as carefully as the entry. Send a "getting home" message with transport options.
